I paint simple moments, the everyday. Life’s frustrations and joys. I’m always looking for the beauty and simplicity in the world around us and am drawn to simple pattern and repetition, the mundane.

I studied design and illustration at university before going on to work in advertising, spending many years writing major brand campaigns for tv, radio and print.

My time in the industry taught me a lot about human nature and what makes people tick. I’m an avid people watcher, and fascinated by the human condition. I love simple visual imagery that has the power to connect with people and make them smile.

I left London to live on the south coast, raise my daughter and paint full time.
